Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It records aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers, and approximate country of origin, none of which can be used to identify individual visitors.
Why we collect this data
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest: To respond to your inquiries and operate our website. This includes reading your contact form submissions, replying to them, and maintaining security through server logs.
- Consent: If you explicitly consent to further communication beyond responding to your initial inquiry.
- Legal obligation: Where required by law, such as tax record-keeping or responding to lawful requests from authorities.
How long we keep your data
- Contact form submissions: 24 months from date of submission, then deleted. Exception: if we enter into a business relationship with you, we retain relevant correspondence for the duration of the engagement plus applicable legal retention periods (typically 7 years for tax and contract records).
- Server logs: 90 days, then deleted.
- Analytics data: Aggregate data is retained indefinitely for trend analysis. This data does not identify individuals.
Who we share your data with
We use the following third-party services to operate our website. These are data processors acting on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. (USA, GDPR-compliant): Hosting provider. Processes server logs and page requests.
- Resend.com Inc. (USA, GDPR-compliant): Email delivery service. Processes contact form submissions at the point of delivery to our inbox.
- Microsoft Corporation (USA, GDPR-compliant): Email receipt and storage via Microsoft Exchange. Processes contact form emails once they reach our info@dataskye.com inbox.
- Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia, EU): Analytics. Processes anonymised visit data only, no personal identifiers.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not transfer it outside the processors listed above.
International data transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this is the case, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or equivalent safeguards, to ensure your data is protected to GDPR standards.
AI-assisted processing
We may use AI-assisted tools (such as large language model assistants) to help draft responses to your inquiries, summarise correspondence, or categorise submissions for internal workflow purposes. Where this happens:
- Your submission content may be processed by the AI tool for the specific purpose of handling your inquiry
- We do not permit these tools to retain your data for training purposes
- We use tools from providers with enterprise-grade data handling commitments and GDPR-compliant processing terms
- You can request that your submission is not processed by AI tools by stating this preference in your message
This practice reflects current industry standard for professional correspondence. If you have questions about how AI-assisted processing applies to your inquiry, contact us at info@dataskye.com.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cookies from social media platforms.
